Continuation story of Pride and Prejudice! ;D

Well, this is definitely a book I want to keep! ;) This story takes off right after Mr. Darcy proposes to Elizabeth Bennet. They marry and off they go to Pemberly to start off their new life together!

One thing I notice about this author is that she likes to write about Mr. Darcy's eagerness in bedding his wife! ;D lol At the introduction part, she mentioned how Jane Austen never really touch upon that area of the story, so I guess Linda here is making up for it in her book.

The English she writes isn't that difficult to understand but it isn't the normal flow of English either. For example, she wrote "Pemberley unadorned was unbelievably impressive. Pemberley in want of a ball was indescribably sumptuous."

She also chooses her words carefully when describing a particular "act". For example, she wrote "He landed upon his backside, but it was not his chief concern. He feared that the explicit nature of their embrace might have subjected Elizabeth to impalement and thus violent injury to her...self. The laughter she attempted to stifle persuaded him not. Thus, this particular amourous infusion was compleated upon the floor, the slipperiness of which rendered the act as one of exceedingly ambulatory passion." - ;D

Hmmm... sounds like perhaps the makings of a porn version of a Jane Austin story! ;)
Or rather, more like a fan fiction (the author is a fan of the original but disappointed that there's not "sexy stuff" like modern romance novels) turned into a book. ;)

For your info, she's coming out with further continuation to this book, which will be featuring them with the kids! It'll be out sometime May, I think. :D Coolness!
