Paradise Kiss....

Found out about this anime a month ago and decided to give it a try. Oh, before that, Happy New Year!!! ^_^"" Sorry, haven't been blogging much lately. Feeling pretty lazy at the start of the new year. Engines a little rusty. But it's starting to warm up now. :)

As I was about to elaborate...Paradise Kiss. It's a little weird, actually. ^_^" It's about this girl from a prestigious school who got scouted by this group of fashion design students to be a model for their project.

At the introduction of the anime, the anime would show blurred out/ painted over real life pictures with weird little cartoon characters peeking out from corners as the narrator tells the story. Later, the anime would start with Do You Want To by Frank Ferdinanz playing in the background occasionally.

Throughout the episodes, you'd get this artsy feeling about the characters....like duh, fashion design students. And I would be thinking, do people actually wear those kind of clothes? The perfect hairstyle for the girl looks....too even and straight. :P But that's what they called fitting the image of Paradise Kiss, their clothing brand.

A little on the side, the girl falls in love with the leader of their group (blue haired guy). Ooh, he's the silent, brooding type....mysterious. ;D Anyways, haven't really formed a definite opinion on this anime. For now I'd give it a...2.5 out of 5. ^_^""

I haven't seen this but from your description it seems interesting though, and the graphics look okay... but since you said it's only worth 2.5 out of 5... I don't think I will even bother. ;)

If you have seen honey & clover, you'd notice the cube like intro of 'animation' at the beginning of the anime. Paradise kiss also has the same thing at the start. Probably done by the same people? ;D Anyway, the reason I gave it a 2.5 out of 5 is because it hasn't gotten interesting yet....just like honey & clover, IMO. ;D A little slow...
