Watched 26 episodes of Scryed in 2 days!!! 8D

My brother got this for his Christmas present from my sister. We all sat down after dinner to test it out and we haven't stop since. ;D

Scryed (pronounced as "Scry-doh" in Japanese) is a fast paced action anime. It's about this 1% of the human population who has the ability to use the materials around them to form Alters (machines representing their power) and fight battles for them.

The red hair guy (sorry, can't remember his name, was focused more on his abilities) forms his Alter on his right arm, which later as his power progresses, forms all over his body to provide some sort of body armour.

The green hair guy (he's the cool one that I like!) forms his Alter in a form of a humanoid with no arms which later changes to figure with arms fully extended and a tail to boot. His ultimate transformation is when his Alter merges with him to form also a body armour.

These two guys started with minimal power and should have stayed that way just like any other Native Alter users. But somehow, theirs kept increasing till the point that they are the two most powerful users. And wouldn't you know it, they hate each others' guts. The red hair guy believes in freedom for Alter users while the other person thinks they should be captured and that's why he's working for this Alter organization called Holy that is basically a police force against criminal Alter users.

Ultimately they end up on the same side fighting against this self experimented, power hungry Alter user. But in the last episode, they fight each other again to prove who's more powerful. -_-"" A waste of time I think. Worst of all, they left their loved ones to do that. Fighting is the only thing they live for now that the threat is gone and they are the most powerful users in the whole world. Sigh...

But! It was a good anime! :D

OK, it looks like yet another mindless action cartoon... like Dragonball... ;D

But wouldn't you know it, one of the creator for this anime, Yosuke Kuroda, is the same that created Trigun and Onegai Sensei. ;) Interesting don't you think? ;D
